OUR BUSINESS
PT Nusa Karya Arindo (NKA) is a nickel mining company focused on open-pit mining operations, applying efficient, safe, and environmentally sound mining practices. We are committed to producing high-quality nickel ore through best-in-class operational standards and compliance with applicable regulations in Indonesia.
Beyond production, NKA actively conducts exploration to increase resource reserves and support long-term business sustainability. In parallel, the company runs community development and empowerment programs (PPM) as part of its commitment to creating added value for stakeholders and the surrounding environment.
Ore & Route Overview

Saprolite
2.0%+ Ni
The upper laterite horizon at our Halmahera concession — silicate-hosted nickel ore mined from the top layers of weathered peridotite. Feedstock for RKEF ferronickel smelters supplying the global stainless-steel supply chain.
Limonite
1.5% Ni
The lower iron-rich horizon — limonite ore hosted in iron-oxide matrix, higher in iron content and lower in nickel. Feedstock for HPAL processing into mixed hydroxide precipitate (MHP), the precursor for EV battery cathode materials.
